Worship
Worship services are held each evening after supper. They typically begin with a time of singing led by the praise band that is made up of a group of campers (typically youth campers).
After singing, a speaker will challenge the group with a biblically based message or present a program on poverty, world hunger, or international clean water issues.
A few times during the week, you will have opportunities to reflect and discuss the things that you see and experience during your day working on the home and interacting with the family your are serving. These reflection times are both in small groups and in the large group setting. We have one night of "fishbowl" that is a unique experience that can not be described, it must be experienced.
One night is dedicated to a talent show where each team presents a skit, song or artistic impression of their week at camp. It often brings tears to your eyes both from laughter and from emotion.
